Our Story

Terra Fleet was born from a passion to make manufacturing better. Not simply better on paper, but better where it matters most, on the shop floor, in the data, in the process, and in the results.

Our journey began through two different paths that eventually came together.

As a Principal Engineer with more than 18 years of experience, I have spent my career working inside complex industrial and manufacturing environments, solving production problems, developing processes, supporting new product introduction, scaling production, working with automation, addressing quality challenges, and finding ways to make complex operations more efficient and reliable.

My experience spans heavy equipment, aerospace, oil and gas, and hydropower industries, with expertise in complex and autonomous-ready systems, electrification, plant automation, CNC and robotics, Lean Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, ERP, and MES.

One experience that deeply influenced my thinking was working with the U.S. Department of Energy Industrial Assessment Center at the University of North Texas. I visited manufacturing facilities, studied how their operations actually worked, analyzed data, identified inefficiencies, and developed practical opportunities for improvement.

What fascinated me was that some of the biggest improvements did not require completely new factories or expensive equipment. They started with simply looking at the process differently.

That experience created a belief that continues to guide how I approach manufacturing today.

Before we change something, we need to understand it.

Our second founder brings a different but equally powerful perspective.

With more than 12 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, business analysis, and UX research, she brings a passion for technology, innovation, and finding meaningful insights within complex information.

With a strong entrepreneurial influence from her family and a desire to build something of her own, she saw an opportunity to bring data, technology, and intelligent decision making into the world of industrial improvement.

When our two perspectives came together, the idea for Terra Fleet became clear.

We believe the next generation of manufacturing will not be driven by one technology alone.

It will come from the connection between people, processes, engineering, data, automation, and technology.

When these elements work together, manufacturers can see problems more clearly, make better decisions, improve performance, and build operations that are ready for what comes next.

A production problem may appear to be an equipment problem, but the real cause could be material flow.

A quality problem may appear to be an operator issue, but the real cause could be process variation.

A capacity problem may appear to require another machine, but the real opportunity may be hidden in cycle time, layout, utilization, or scheduling.

We are passionate about finding that real opportunity.

We look beyond the obvious to understand what is actually limiting performance.

We started Terra Fleet because we wanted to build a company that does not simply recommend improvements.

We want to understand the problem, engineer the solution, and help make the improvement real.

From plant assessments and Lean transformation to automation, quality, safety, data analytics, digital manufacturing, and advanced manufacturing solutions, our goal is to connect practical industrial experience with modern technology.

We believe improvement should be practical, measurable, and built around the realities of the operation.
